It snowed again yesterday, and I’m not complaining.
After all, I live outside of Boston, and it’s January, so as long as it’s pretty and white, I’m happy.
But my mind has been wandering lately.
See, I love fall and winter fashion. I love blue jeans and flowing sweaters and scarves and boots that make you look like an equestrian even though the mere thought makes you laugh.
What I don‘t love are warmer-weather fashions. Things that show skin {mine’s dough-girl white}. And wearing heavy jeans in the dead of summer when the forecast includes highs in the 90′s with typical New England humidity is just plain painful.
I know. I’ve tried it. Ugh.
Dress . Wedge Sandals . Fun Flip Flops . Necklace . Sunglasses . Book
So my mind is all over sundresses lately. They’ve got to be the answer, right?
Look at how pretty this one looks. I could dress her up for a date night, or dress her down to stick around the house for a little spring cleaning {not the things that require too much elbow grease, of course}.
Tell me, what are your go-to’s in the warmer weather, and if it’s sundresses, where on earth do you find them?!

Isn’t it charming?! I’d wear it with flip flops in a second.
I feel the same way about colder weather fashion! Love layering. ALTHOUGH… it is frigid in Eastern WA right now and I could definitely go for some WARM sunshine

Oh I LOVE dressing for spring and summer. I’m already counting down the days until winter is over. I virtually ONLY wear sundresses, which is my favorite piece of clothing anyways. Sigh, winter, will you get a move on already?

It’s funny you say this because this is so like my little sister (who is blonde and blue eyed with fair skin) and the opposite of me. I like the layers that come with cooler weather, but once it drops below 50, I really don’t like the cold or having to bundle up so much. On the flip side, I love summer so much that I don’t mind the 100+ temps that come with it. I am pretty sure God designed me for summer weather, haha! My skin soaks up the sun and I seldom burn. So summer clothes are easy for me. Anyway, this dress is super cute! Definitely something I would wear.

Yes, that’s so inviting! Or course, we have bitter cold weather with no snow over here. I’m aching for spring!

{Melinda} Since I live in Florida, I never get to do the “equestrian look” and I am so jealous! I really miss the seasons and wearing sweaters and bundling up. The grass is always greener, isn’t it? I LOVE that dress … especially the color. My go-tos are cute bermuda shorts and a fitted tee.
